New Haven Solar

New Haven Solar is a 100-megawatt solar project spanning across approximately 300 acres of fenced area on privately owned land in Mason County, West Virginia. Projected to become operational in 2026, New Haven Solar will provide long-term local and state tax revenue, new jobs, and financial stability for local landowners.

American-made energy that  strengthens the Mason County economy

New Haven Solar represents a commitment to an 'all of the above' energy strategy, complementing the state's existing energy resources. By adding solar power to the mix, we honor West Virginia's long-standing role in powering America, while adapting to the evolving energy landscape.

The project is anticipated to generate substantial economic growth, offering approximately 250 construction roles and over $18 million in tax contributions into the local economy across its 40-year projected operational period. Solar projects like New Haven also help to preserve the agricultural character of the region, leaving only a minimal environmental footprint.
